Absolutely LOVE this bracelet and this mission!!! <3 I'm from India and we celebrate an annual holiday there called Rakshabandhan, to symbolize the bond of love and protection between a brother and sister. Traditionally we (sisters) make friendship bands or Rakhis to tie around our brother's wrist on this day and they keep these Rakhis for the entire year until we celebrate again. The Rakhis we make tend to be very elaborate but in a corporate setting or when out and about aren't always the most practical because they tend to fall off, disintegrate or fade away. My brother asked me to find him one that could be taken on/off and had a simple design. In my research I found 8 Billion Trees and fell in love with the simplistic bracelet designs, the fact that they're made out of recycled/reclaimed materials and the company's mission. So I showed my brother the design and bought one with his approval. I got to tie this around my brother's wrist as a Rakhi this year and we're both so happy!! He wears the bracelet I gave him with love and pride everyday and if anyone asks what the bracelet is for, he tells them about our holiday and this wonderful mission :)

LOVE this bracelet too -- BUT as I already did write to you: you should present it in a nice "package"!! It arrived loose in a box.....without the kind of explanation that the "rainbow glass bead bracelet" comes attached to. If it is a question about cost.....then you should sell it for $5 more....and present it in a little simple bag..or at least attached to this kind of explanation as the pearl ones come with!!! I am convinced that people would buy more of them - if you put more effort into the presentation!!!
